The Demon King, who has been asleep for three hundred years, wakes up and discovers that his lost daughter has become an elite student at the Demon-Catching Academy. He goes under an assumed name to work as a handyman, teaching her to practice blade techniques and checking her homework, yet the more he teaches, the more he fears she will recognize him. Eight-year-old Xiaoman complains that the old crow is clumsy, but still saves half a pastry for him. A practical training session causes this newly sprouted closeness to collide with a demonic aura that can no longer be hidden.
