Chen Mo, a live-in son-in-law, loses his wife in a tragic accident and is kicked out of his home. With his two children, he is forced to take shelter in a dilapidated pigsty. After being bitten by a multicolored centipede, he unexpectedly awakens the ability to see over vast distances. He makes a living by hunting and gathering medicinal herbs, builds a home and a business, and leads the founding of a cooperative to help the entire village become prosperous. Facing repeated obstacles, including others trying to seize his ancestral home, local bullies abusing their power, and unscrupulous merchants deliberately driving down prices, he fights back and resolves conflicts, ultimately achieving a happy life of reconciliation and family reunion.
