After an accident, Ji Chen gains the ability to understand animals' inner thoughts, but he can only work as a low-ranking caregiver at a pet hospital. Using his mind-reading ability, he uncovers the truth behind a Border Collie's suffocation, resolves a cat's behavioral disorder, and repeatedly corrects misdiagnoses to save lives. Although his colleagues ostracize him and the hospital director exploits him, he gains the support of clients and establishes a behavioral observation room. Eventually, he clears his name and rises from a disregarded caregiver to a respected professional veterinarian.
