Eighteen-year-old modern youth Zhou Ningye accidentally travels through time to the Great Yuan Dynasty. Upon waking, he finds himself the eldest son of a poor farming family, with his parents missing and his home reduced to bare walls. His seven-year-old younger brother and two little sisters are depending on him for survival. He originally thought he could rely on a system to turn his fate around, but unexpectedly, the system mistakenly binds itself to the wrong host and hastily disconnects, leaving behind only a mysterious pocket dimension. Faced with wicked relatives trying to seize the family property and sell his younger sisters, Zhou Ningye decisively cuts ties with them and protects his family. He gradually improves their lives by gathering mountain produce, fishing, and raising sheep. By chance, he also saves the mysterious expert Yue Junting and learns martial arts to protect himself, only to unexpectedly discover that his parents' disappearance is connected to a secret gold mine.
