In his past life, hunter Chen Tiesheng was treated like an ox and a horse by his entire family for thirty years. The work points he earned belonged to his parents, the game he hunted fed his younger siblings, while his own wife and daughter were shortchanged on rations by his family, and his wife drowned herself by jumping into the river. As for him, he was kicked off into a cliff by his younger brother. Opening his eyes again, Chen Tiesheng returned to the autumn of 1975, when his daughter was still in swaddling clothes and his wife was being forced by her sister-in-law to give up the last bowl of rice porridge. The cowardice, foolish filial piety, and spinelessness of his past life are all crushed to pieces in this life.
