Rong Yunyi is bound by a random street-stall system, forced to sell pork ribs at a dental clinic, deliver love meals at a funeral home, and sell stinky tofu at a square. From a down-and-out worker scammed of her savings by her scumbag ex and unable to afford rent, she makes a strong comeback with divine culinary skills, slaps the faces of her scumbag ex and best friend, outsmarts the unscrupulous landlord, and conquers the arrogant president and the state-banquet master chef. Fighting her way from a roadside stall to the champion of the international food exhibition, she heals countless diners with a bite of hot food, ultimately evolving from someone illuminated by others into the light that illuminates others.
