You Pretend to Pay the Bill, I'll Pay to Treat You to Prison Food
At the New Year's Eve family banquet, brother-in-law Liu Guang publicly boasted about treating everyone, but when it came time to check out, he was unable to pay and begged his brother-in-law Jiang Jinghe to cover the bill. His wife, Liu Meijuan, blindly favored her brother, continually persuading Jiang Jinghe to compromise using family affection. Years of endless bailouts made Jiang Jinghe determined not to compromise anymore. Amidst the argument, he was shocked to learn that his wife had joined forces with Liu Guang to misappropriate eight million yuan of company funds. Heartbroken and disillusioned, Jiang Jinghe chose to protect his rights according to the law, recover the funds, end the marriage, bid farewell to past entanglements, and welcome brand new life and career opportunities.
