Modern-day chef Li Nianchang transmigrates to the Lingyin Continent, where his elder brother sells him to the Qingyi Sect to serve as the male attendant of Fairy Qingmei. He awakens a devouring talent and discovers a luminous treasure gourd containing the remnants of countless powerful souls. Qingmei seems adorably naive but is actually incredibly powerful, and the two are often bullied. During a test, Li Nianchang reveals an astonishing talent and is punished by being sent to the Panshi Cave. There, he obtains a supreme treasure and advances rapidly, successively killing Mingyou, Yukong, and the head of the Enforcement Hall, earning the enmity of the Divine Sword Dynasty. Just then, the Pig Demon King breaks free from his seal and leads his followers in search of revenge. Carrying the legacy of myriad arts, Li Nianchang and Qingmei find themselves caught in a three-way siege by the immortal sects, the dynasty, and the demon race. A great battle is about to erupt.
