In his previous life, out of brotherly loyalty, Zhang Hao generously handed over the plot of land he had received during the family division to his older brother, Zhang Ming, so he could farm it. Little did he know that not long afterward, he would be informed that the entire village was being demolished and redeveloped, and that a massive Qianxiang Plaza would be built on that very plot, making it worth over a hundred million. Zhang Ming secretly sold the land behind Zhang Hao's back and pocketed the money. When Zhang Hao was critically injured in a car accident and desperately needed money for surgery, Zhang Ming refused to help, claiming that his wife wouldn't allow it. As a result, Zhang Hao died in his hospital bed from his injuries. Reborn, Zhang Hao vows to protect his own land this time and make Zhang Ming pay for what he did.
