Ye Chen resigned and returned to his hometown to take care of his seriously ill grandfather until his passing. Following his grandfather's last will, he guarded the ancestral home and gave up the inheritance. After breaking up with his girlfriend, by a twist of fate he discovered an ancient White Tiger painting in a hidden compartment of the ancestral home, awakening the ancient White Tiger spiritual core. He gained the ability to traverse mountains and forests and identify rare medicinal herbs, using his supernatural powers to acquire top-tier herbs like the millennium purple-gold Ganoderma lucidum in the mountains. Partnering with pharmaceutical female CEO Chu Qinghe, he supplied rare herbs to make a mark in the market, developed high-end health and wellness, stayed true to his original aspiration, harvested herbs with moderation, and ultimately absorbed the spiritual energy of mountains and rivers to attain the White Tiger true form, guarding the spirits of the mountains and forests and becoming a benevolent urban medicine god.
