A chemical plant circuit shorted and caught fire. To protect an imported production line worth 30 million, boss Wang Fugui blocked workers from escaping and prohibited calling the fire department, forcing veteran employee Lao Li to rush into the fire for emergency rescue, resulting in severe injuries to Lao Li's both arms. Worker Lin Hai collected evidence and verified that the plant had safety inspection bribery issues. Subsequently, a major explosion occurred at the plant, and Wang Fugui abandoned his child and hid. His scene of hiding under a car was broadcast live by a drone, and he was publicly exposed by his biological son. Partners cancelled orders and claimed compensation of 80 million, Wang Fugui was arrested, and Lin Hai stated in court that the destruction of money was a natural disaster, and keeping lives safe was the principle of heaven.
