While patrolling the mountains, forest ranger Lin Shoushan receives a warning from a white python and rescues Su Qingyuan, a cultural relics professor who is being attacked by a ferocious tiger. In the moment of danger, Su Qingyuan's green jade pendant becomes stained with Lin Shoushan's blood, unexpectedly activating his spiritual eyes and awakening a mysterious ability that allows him to see through the earth's ley lines and human injuries. After seventeen years of living frugally and saving 120,000 yuan, Lin Shoushan happily heads into the city, intending to help his nephew, Lin Bo, pay for his wedding betrothal gifts. However, his sister-in-law, Li Xiuju, and his nephew look down on his rustic appearance and publicly humiliate him in every possible way. Even after accepting all his savings, the two remain cold and indifferent, breaking Lin Shoushan's heart.
