A Rank 0 F-class alchemist awakens an S-rank card on the very day his team kicks him out. His system awakens, and his shackles are broken. The 4 of Spades, 5 of Hearts, 9 of Hearts—one S-rank card after another falls into his hands. Using his skills as an alchemist, he refines poison, brews medicine, and forges blades. He wins ten consecutive battles in an iron cage, scores 6,000 points in a single match at Black Mist Mountain, and slays a young master from a safe zone in the middle of the street. Even a fourth-rank bodyguard falls to his blade. His former teammates kneel and beg for mercy, while powerful elites offer a bounty of 100,000 for his head. Disguised with another person's face, he infiltrates a second-rate team and fights his way toward the HWL League.
