Antique appraisal prodigy Lu Xing follows his master's orders and conceals his identity, spending three years lying low at the Yan family's Treasure Pavilion. During that time, he secretly saves the shop from bankruptcy several times. As his three-year term nears its end, Yan Ruowei blindly trusts Zhao Yuankuo, a fake overseas-returned expert, and humiliates and dismisses Lu Xing over a misunderstanding involving a counterfeit antique. Lu Xing reveals his true abilities, leaving numerous powerful figures impressed as they come to seek him out. The Yan family becomes embroiled in a 500-million-yuan fraud case. Yan Ruowei sells her shares to save the family, only to be betrayed by Zhao Yuankuo. After the Yan elders desperately plead for his help, Lu Xing puts the past behind him, becomes engaged to Leng Shuang, who has supported him wholeheartedly, punishes the villains, and takes over the Treasure Pavilion.
