When modern girl Tao Xue was bungee jumping, her safety lock snapped, and she accidentally time-traveled to the cultivation world, turning into a little girl. After being rescued by Xianjian Sect disciple Mu Nanfeng, to shake off a past life where her family endlessly took from her, she resolved to enter the Xianjian Sect, learn sword flight, and grow strong through self-reliance. Successfully joining the sect with her dual fire-and-wood spiritual roots, Tao Xue started from sensing Qi and practicing sword techniques, taking on tasks and exploring the market amid a shortage of spiritual stones. It wasn't until she ventured alone into the perilous Yuzhi Forest that a cheaply bought black stone unexpectedly revealed an astonishing secret at death's door.
