Modern woman Nian Jia transmigrates into the Dayong inner palace and learns that transmigrated women must rely on the Empress's Seal to sustain their souls, while the previous ninety-nine were all utilized and died miserably. Concealing her brilliance, she uses geomancy to help the Emperor eliminate the state preceptor who secretly controls both realms, taking charge of the Bureau of Astronomy to keep visitors from other worlds in check. The newly transmigrated Su Xiaoke acts recklessly relying on a system and perishes after accidentally entering a forbidden area. Nian Jia gathers a hundred strands of soul to set up a formation, sealing off the passageway between the two realms, destroying the system, declining the empress position, and leaving the palace alone in pursuit of freedom.
