In the 1980s, young Zhao Tie ventures into the mountains through a snowstorm to save his seriously ill younger sister, Xiao Ya. By chance, he rescues Bai Xue, a white fox with human-like intelligence, and discovers precious mountain treasures under its guidance. He establishes Zhao's Mountain Treasures business through honest dealings, but faces exclusion from competitors and a blockade of his supplies. With help from Su Qinghan and the relevant authorities, Zhao Tie operates lawfully and overcomes the crisis, while Xiao Ya gradually recovers under a doctor's care. In the end, he develops a well-regulated medicinal herb industry, leads the villagers in building roads and schools, helps everyone achieve prosperity together, and devotes himself to protecting the Changbai Mountains' ecosystem.
