In the thirty-seventh year of Qin Shi Huang, at Shaqiu, Ying Zheng's life reaches its end. Descendants from two thousand years later cross time and space to rush to the land of Qin. Military doctor Chen Yao starts with his life to extend Ying Zheng's life; agricultural scientist Shen Changqing comes carrying potato and sweet potato seeds, breaking the food dilemma of the Great Qin. Generation after generation of later patriotic figures strive successively, burning their brief time to bring advanced knowledge to the Ancestral Dragon. Ying Zheng holds onto his life, sees through historical lessons, gathers the wisdom left by the time-travelers, secretly plots to clear out the treacherous officials within the court, improves farming, and reforms the system. No longer letting the Great Qin perish in the second generation, guarding the root pulse of Chinese civilization, the Ancestral Dragon rises up to protect the eternal China.
