When the enemy invaded, he was so frightened he crawled under a table; as a result, the enemy commander tripped over a table leg, knocked himself out, and was captured alive. The soldiers thought it was a plan set by him and cheered joyfully. He said he was truly scared, not using a strategy. When the emperor heard about it, he said he possessed extraordinary courage and insight, and promoted him. He cried: 'I was just afraid of death, why am I promoted again?'
