Shazhou has been besieged by the Louju army for three years, leaving only three hundred remnants after a bloody and bitter struggle among thirty thousand soldiers and civilians. With grain, medicine, and winter clothing exhausted, Wuwei Great General Xiao Zhenbei unexpectedly travels through to the modern era in a desperate situation. Before him lies boundless prosperity and abundant supplies, yet everything requires money. To save his compatriots in the city, he casts aside his general's pride, turning to various hard labor jobs to earn money frantically. Rice, fever reducers, and cotton padded clothes are continuously sent back to Shazhou; motorcycles, steel, and greenhouses quietly change the pattern of defending the city. When ten cars roar and ignite, Xiao Zhenbei studies electric welding, and Shazhou no longer seeks merely to survive, as the horn of counterattack is about to sound.
