Wang Daling, an assistant staff member at an animal hospital, returns to work after experiencing physical abnormalities. Her memory frequently blanks out. Seemingly muddle-headed and fond of slacking off, she actually possesses a sharp insight into animal illnesses. Her colleague Miao Miao is on good terms with her. During the treatment of an injured muntjac, Wang Daling foresees the hidden injury in advance, but she is ignored by Director Feng, and her judgment is verified afterwards. Later, facing a young raccoon with recurrent hypoglycemia, she discovers that the illness is not caused by insufficient food, but by an innate metabolic abnormality. Bound by her low status and humble words, Miao Miao ventures to adopt her line of thought to apply for additional tests, ultimately diagnosing the cause and saving the young raccoon. The story thus begins.
