Mai Sui, a powerhouse in the apocalyptic world, unexpectedly time-travels to Lotus Village in the 1970s. She completely shakes off the original owner's cowardly image, taking on heavy family responsibilities with a bold and resolute attitude. Relying on her extraordinary courage and martial prowess, she ventures into the mountains to hunt and roams the markets, guiding her family in diligent labor and step by step improving their lives. When she encounters a lurking criminal trying to escape, she steps forward bravely, using her sharp skills to successfully assist the troops in capturing the wanted criminal, and is commended by the military for "acts of righteous bravery." She meets and gets to know Shen Xingchen, a cold yet upright educated youth, warming up to each other. In the end, due to her outstanding skills, Mai Sui is appreciated and recommended by the military to enlist, starting a brand-new life in the tide of the era.
