Tian Ning, the legitimate daughter of the Wenren family, spent fifteen years lost in the mortal realm. Entrusted by the old man of the Heavenly Dao, she must eliminate transmigrators who steal the world's fortune. After returning to her family, she is relentlessly suppressed by Wenren Xue, the fake heiress. Though she awakens a naturally gifted sword bone, she chooses the declining Sword-Guarding Mountain. Her senior brothers and sisters are persecuted and have their fortune stolen, so Tian Ning protects them while lounging around reading storybooks. During the sect competition and the chaos in the Sword Tomb, she reveals her formidable strength, reclaims the fortune stolen by Wenren Xue, and breaks through to the Golden Core stage. Later, on an outdoor mission, she eliminates monsters harming people on behalf of the Long family and discovers that her fifth senior sister, who betrayed the sect, is a transmigrator who has taken over another person's body.
