Qin Hao, the young master of the Qin family, voluntarily reshapes his fifth-grade martial soul into a first-grade one in order to cultivate an ancient technique. However, this leads to betrayal by his childhood sweetheart, Liu Ruoxue, and contempt from his clan. Facing the loss of his position as young master and the trouble brought upon his father, he relies on the inheritance of the Supreme Sword Pagoda to forge his sword soul anew, win first place in the Myriad Phenomena Genius Tournament, and enter the Myriad Phenomena Hall. Within the sect, the Lei family presses him at every turn, while dangers lurk within the trials. Qin Hao breaks through every predicament with his sword, tempers his will in the ruins of an ancient sect, and meets like-minded companions. He embarks on a path of cultivation where one's future is not defined by the grade of one's martial soul.
