Lin Feng, a technician, uses his exclusive formula to turn an abandoned fishing pond into South City's number-one pay-to-fish venue. However, his childhood friend and the friend's wife betray him, kicking him out for a mere 8,000 yuan. Lin Feng immediately takes over a deep, cold-spring quarry pond. With custom-made giant-fish bait and a King of Fish Challenge, he attracts wealthy fishing enthusiasts and stages an explosive comeback. His former friend steals the so-called formula, only to fall into a trap. While secretly stealing fish in the dead of night, he is dragged into the deep water by a monster-sized fish. In the end, the entire gang is arrested, and the betrayers lose everything and are disgraced.
