Chen Qiusheng, the anchoring pillar of banquets in Zaohua Village, has managed village banquets for a full decade. Hearing that changing suppliers can save thirty yuan per table, the villagers cast aside years of affection and jointly dismiss him. Chen Qiusheng calmly hands over all his possessions and turns to make a living in a neighboring village. No one expects that four banquets will happen to collide on the very same day. The new supplier panics as ingredients and tables successively collapse, and the happy event looks like it will turn into a huge joke. The entire village panics, and with no other options left, they can only bite the bullet and go beg Chen Qiusheng, whom they drove away with their own hands, to come back and save the day.
