Song Zhiyan amazed the Golden Throne Hall with an essay and was appointed by the young emperor to enter the court as an official. Day after day, the two checked accounts and debated politics, appreciating each other. The emperor placed extraordinary trust in this quick-witted minister, and many amusing anecdotes arose in the court. As they spent a long time together, the emperor discovered that this capable minister harbored a secret. When the true identity was revealed, it was only then known that she was originally a woman. With all knots in their hearts completely untied, they henceforth worked with one heart and one mind to jointly govern the realm, achieving a legendary tale of a wise monarch and virtuous minister passed down through the ages.
