At the start, Lin Yan tragically has his elixir snatched by his Shizun and his engagement broken by his fiancée. The against-fate system frantically instigates him to follow the dark revenge arc of "do not bully a young man into poverty." However, he refuses to play by the book; after peacefully breaking off the contract, he turns around to take over abandoned spiritual fields and embarks on a hardcore journey of "immortal cultivation infrastructure"! Relying on construction specifications and project management, Lin Yan cries the entire cultivation world to tears, and even when the demon race launches a massive invasion, he uses "emergency plans" and the city-wide spiritual network to break the Demon Lord's mental defense. In the end, even the Demon Lord cannot help sending an order begging him to take on the project!
