A modern female quality-control worker travels back in time to the famine-stricken 1960s. The moment she opens her eyes, she faces a desperate situation: the high school entrance examination has been suspended, and she is being forced to move to the countryside. Determined to avoid rural relocation, she decisively skips grades and races to pass the entrance exams for a technical secondary school, securing a coveted job at a state-owned enterprise and successfully escaping her rural assignment. Without any miraculous overnight success or extraordinary abilities, she takes things one step at a time, applying her modern knowledge of machinery to overcome one technical challenge after another, from repairing equipment to developing machinery independently. Eventually, she earns a recommendation to Harbin Institute of Technology, helping propel the nation's industrial growth and strengthen the country through science and technology!
