Because they possessed a secret treasure, the Yang family was wiped out by villains. Although Yang Guo escaped a disaster, he was planted with a mysterious Gu poison by enemies that no one could cure. The Nianhua Sect Saint rescued Yang Guo and accepted him as her senior disciple, and Yang Guo followed her to learn medicine. Years later, Yang Guo grew up. As the only disciple of the Nianhua Sect Saint, he had already mastered exquisite medical skills, but he suffered from the Gu poison and bore the deep hatred of his family's destruction. The Nianhua Sect Saint tried her best to suppress it but could not cure the poison. Yang Guo's Gu poison flared up again, and the Nianhua Saint could no longer suppress it either, leaving her with no choice but to seek a life-saving prescription for her beloved disciple.
