A little monk is injured and lives in seclusion in the mountains and forests, where he accidentally meets a little snake demon whose spiritual wisdom has just awakened and whose nature is pure and kind. The human and the demon meet by chance and embark on a journey of cultivation and training together. Along the way, they repeatedly encounter harassment from fierce beasts and the difficulties made by villains. The little monk resolves disputes with a compassionate heart, and the little snake demon relies on her innate spiritual sense to warn of danger. Experiencing wind, frost, rain, and snow all the way, they witness the joys and sorrows of the world, and jointly face heavy tribulations. In the long journey, they stick to their kind thoughts, temper their natures, and jointly comprehend the great path of the world.
