Lu Chen of the Taixuan Sect had his cultivation stolen by the destiny holy son Pei Zhaoye using the Yin-Yang Mother Seal, reducing him to a sect waste. Guided by his master, he cultivated the Nine Tribulations Transforming Mortality Scripture, destroying his foundation nine times to lay out a scheme with his life, borrowed his opponent's soul-extraction and refining to complete the ninth tribulation, awakened the Flawless Dao Body, and severely injured Sect Master Xuan Yuan with a single punch. At the East Wasteland Assembly, Lu Chen suppressed the heroes and reached the summit as the champion. The fallen Pei Zhaoye came for revenge and was killed by his sword. But the Void Demon Eye opened, and extraterrestrial demons descended; Lu Chen held his sword alone against the demonic tide, and the first season ended.
