In the cold storage warehouse owned by boss Lu Chuan, frozen seafood worth 3.6 million is stored. His brother-in-law, Lin Chen, has just started working and, believing he has found a trick to save money, insists on shutting down the cold storage units to save on electricity bills. Administrator Cheng Ye warns repeatedly that the cold storage requires constant temperature to preserve the goods and carries extreme risks, but his elder sister, Lin Wan, favors her younger brother and secretly hands the emergency key over to Lin Chen. Late at night, Lin Chen pulls the power switch without authorization to stop the machines, causing the temperature to rise quietly. Cheng Ye notices the abnormality and reports it, but Lin Wan forcefully covers it up. By dawn, massive cargo damage is caused, and Lin Chen finally realizes the irredeemable disaster he has brought about.
