Female SWAT officer Jiang Wan wakes up one day to find herself turned into a peasant wife in a snowy, snow-bound mountain village with no food left at home. Facing barren walls and cold stares, she refuses to accept her fate. Relying on her survival skills from her past life, she hunts rabbits and pheasants with her hunter husband Shen Chuan, outwits wild boars, trades labor for food, and helps fellow villagers survive the famine. When a fierce tiger descends the mountain to attack the village and everyone scatters in panic, she steps forward, leading the remaining elderly and weak to dig pits, set traps, and form formations against danger. In the end, she joins forces with her husband to subdue the tiger, protects the entire village, wins everyone's respect, and leads her family toward a new life.
