Engineer Lin Yan travels back to ancient times and starts out penniless, stranded in a dilapidated temple. Faced with a backward era lacking everyday consumer goods, building materials, and factories, he relies on modern industrial technology to build his business. Starting with Fragrant Jade Soap, he develops the barren hillside of White Stone Creek and turns it into the first modern industrial park of ancient times. Repeatedly facing pressure from merchants and the covetous ambitions of the powerful, Lin Yan overcomes every crisis with his technical expertise, management skills, and long-term vision. While everyone else fights over small-shop businesses, he builds large-scale factories and pioneers a new style of villa, using modern industrial thinking to outclass traditional ancient merchants.
