Five years ago, Qin Jun, the imperial capital's number-one genius, had his dantian crippled, his right arm severed, and was cast out of his family. Five years later, armed with a Qilin Arm and wielding the Nation's Pillar Order, he returns as an invincible force. After his adoptive father is murdered and his adoptive younger sister is kidnapped, he storms a banquet hosted by the Jiang family alone, defeats a wanted criminal with a single move, sends ancient martial artists flying, and crushes Third Master Huang. He rescues the beautiful CEO Tang Ruoxue, captures Xu Hao, and destroys the Xu family. When she discovers that Qin Jun is the God of War she has long admired, Tang Ruoxue secretly falls for him and takes the initiative to pursue him. Qin Jun goes on to crush Tianhai's five great families and launch a direct assault on the Shen family in Jiangnan, ultimately rescuing his adoptive younger sister, Su Ling'er.
