A modern reader transmigrates into the love-brain cannon-fodder Seventh Prince Ning Ye, knowing the original ending: he is poisoned and stripped of his military power by the reborn female lead, the First Prince, and the Emperor, dying a miserable death outside the Shenwu Gate. After awakening, Ning Ye cuts off romantic ties, holds a million Tianwu soldiers in his hands to rigidly defy the imperial power, dismantles all conspiracies, manipulates pawns on all sides, defies the heavens to change his fate, tears apart hypocritical villains, and takes control of his own destiny.
