Five wooden sect tokens, five senior brothers scattered across the mortal world. Tuanzi, a young girl from Medicine Valley, descends the mountain on her master's orders, carrying tokens and letters to seek out her five senior brothers who have wandered far from home and bring them back to Medicine Valley. She carries an old bamboo medicine basket filled with medicinal herbs, and tucked carefully in her pouch are the amber candies she has saved by going without treats. Along the way, she refuses to eat even one herself, saving them all to share with her senior brothers when they meet. On her journey, she cures stubborn illnesses and puts an end to epidemics, earning the admiration of townsfolk as a little miracle doctor. Yet whenever she announces a senior brother's name and presents his wooden token as proof, everyone around her suddenly changes expression, grows solemn, and bows respectfully. Still innocent and unaware, she continues following the clues, never realizing that the humble, struggling senior brothers she worries about are actually extraordinary figures whom the entire world fears and reveres.
