Eight-year-old Tang Guoguo accidentally gains the ability to understand the inner voices of animals, and her father Tang Yu takes over a rundown zoo on the verge of bankruptcy. Jinbao the Northeast tiger and Tuantuan the black bear in the park are regarded by everyone as "crazy beasts" and face the fate of being disposed of. Guoguo hears the fear and pain deep in the animals' hearts, understanding that they are not inherently ferocious. Facing funding shortages and other people's criticisms, the father and daughter stand hand in hand. Guoguo speaks up for the grievances of the animals, and Tang Yu withstands the pressure, abandons animal performance programs, and renovates the park environment. Together, the father and daughter break the world's prejudices, rescue the misunderstood creatures, and transform the dilapidated park into a warm zoo that guards life.
