He Ping Sheng, a menial disciple burdened with an utterly useless Five-Element spiritual root, endures endless bullying. His parents are brutally murdered, his senior brother is killed, and Linglong, the sect's gifted prodigy, treats him like dirt and mercilessly tries to kill him. At the brink of despair, he unexpectedly obtains the heaven-defying Treasure-Gathering Basin, a supreme treasure capable of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary: multiplying resources, transforming worthless pills into divine-grade elixirs, and turning incomplete manuals into peerless techniques. He Ping Sheng patiently conceals his strength and bides his time, defying fate with his supposedly useless spiritual root. He devours resources, crushes his enemies, slays evildoers, and tears down arrogant prodigies. Rising from the lowest menial position, he takes revenge with his own hands, sweeps away the sect's injustices, ascends to become the Holy Son of Qingyun Sect, and reaches the pinnacle of the Dao!
