During his investigation, he uncovers a mysterious connection between Chen An, a missing night watchman, a faceless model in the western section, and the designation A17. As his wristband and access control system repeatedly confuse identities, Lin Ye finally discovers that the cemetery is an experimental node left over from the 749 Anomalous Digital Cognition Program. After lying dormant for years, the system is gradually identifying him as Chen An, the missing watchman.
