Thirty-year-old archaeologist Chen Mo accidentally gets into a car accident while organizing cultural relics. When he wakes up again, he finds himself back in 1988. Having failed the college entrance examination, been abandoned by his girlfriend, and disappointed his parents, everyone believes that this once-promising young man has become a complete failure. But nobody knows that the Chen Mo of today is no longer the despondent boy he once was. Armed with his archaeological knowledge from his previous life and thirty years of memories about the future, he gets back on his feet with a battered three-wheeled cart, starting out by collecting scrap. Old newspapers, broken furniture, and scrap metal that others consider worthless are, in his eyes, priceless treasures hiding immense future value.
