The story follows Li Ping'an, who transmigrated into a blind wandering singer, traversing the undercurrent-churning jianghu accompanied by an old ox. Using his erhu to practice miraculous arts where string melodies can control qi and calm the spirit, and wielding a blade to uphold chivalry and justice along the way, he encounters warmth, kindness, and the myriad states of the mortal world, steadfastly guarding his original intent and moral principles amidst blade lights and mortal fireworks, walking out a passionate chivalrous path of his own.
