To save his seriously ill granddaughter, the legendary fishing master Li Changsheng comes out of retirement after twenty years. Facing humiliation from an arrogant rich second-generation heir and data monopolization by his high-tech rival, Chen Yuan, he relies solely on a purple-black bamboo fishing rod and his master's intuition, known as the Golden Eyes That See Through Water, to catch the most valuable fish in the city's competitive fishing ponds, shocking the entire city with a single battle. Su Xue, the granddaughter of his sworn brother, arrives with a fifty-million-yuan contract seeking revenge, only to uncover the cruel truth behind a life-and-death separation on the Nu River twenty years ago. From competitive fishing ponds to the final showdown on the Nu River, Li Changsheng uses Tai Chi's skill of redirecting force to fight technological bullying. When his disciple chooses to abandon the championship to save a life, he defends the humanitarian dignity of anglers.
