Jewelry designer Lin Mian is ruthlessly suppressed by her ex-husband and sworn rival working together. When her blood falls onto an ancient jade pendant, it awakens Mo Cang, a war god from another world. Bound by a contract and restricted to staying within ten meters of each other, the ancient Sword Sovereign is forced to live with a modern woman. From turning the tables at an auction with a rare Starfall Ore to protecting her with sword energy on a stormy night and fighting for their lives in a revolving restaurant, he gradually transforms from her guardian spirit into the one person who never wants to leave her side. Sweet romance and exhilarating revenge go hand in hand. But when the ten-meter restriction is finally lifted, his true protection has only just begun.
