After traveling through time a hundred years ago, the down-and-out sect leader Lu Changfeng finds his sect on the brink of destruction when he activates a system that rewards him with cultivation power for spending money. Whenever he invests spirit stones in his disciples or sect, he receives enormous amounts of cultivation in return. He spends his limitless supply of spirit stones recruiting extraordinary talents and expanding his immortal sect, winning over top disciples such as Shen Qingluo and Liu Hanyan. With his overwhelming wealth, he crushes powerful enemies, including the Crimson Flame Sect, the Purple Heaven Sect, and the Heavenly Sword Sect, and brings the major hostile forces across the Central Region to their knees. From a dilapidated mountain gate to an immortal estate spanning seventy-two peaks, he builds an unparalleled sect throughout the ages with tens of billions of spirit stones. He sweeps aside an army of one hundred thousand allied forces, rises to become the overlord of the Central Region, and steadily advances toward the path of overcoming tribulation.
