The kind and honest farmer Tietou saved a dying white fox whose internal elixir had been taken by a hunter. The white fox transformed into the bold and forthright Xiao E, and they depended on each other in a dilapidated earthen house. However, the greedy medicine shop owner Manager Qian colluded with Tietou's vicious sister-in-law Guihua, attempting to completely eliminate Xiao E using dark and sinister means. Faced with layer upon layer of conspiracy and life-and-death tests, the originally gentle and timid Tietou used his flesh and blood to protect his beloved, and justice ultimately defeated evil, writing a legendary romance bridging the divide between humans and spirits in an ancient style.
