Having been punished to practice austerities at the Heart-Inquiring Cliff for twelve years, Xie Xuanwei unexpectedly awakened the power of the heart tribulation that penetrates human obsessions and hearts. He saw through the evil hidden beneath the glamorous exterior of the Heavenly Sect's elders, and exposed the Grand Elder's conspiracy on the Heaven-Questioning Platform. Afterwards, he resisted Youquan, the dark agent of the Heart-Devouring Sect, faced his own heart tribulation, and realized that saving others is also saving oneself. Finally, resolving the catastrophe, as the master of the heart tribulation, he guarded the sect and embarked on a new path of cultivation.
