A modern architectural designer unexpectedly soul-travels and becomes a country foolish woman ridiculed by the entire village, and is even dowry-given in marriage by her natal family for five taels of silver. Facing a home stripped bare by poverty and a sky full of cold stares, she does not wallow in self-pity; instead, relying on her top-notch architectural craftsmanship and unyielding resilience, from setting up a street stall for a living to personally measuring, designing, and rebuilding a new home, she stubbornly carves out dignity and a path for survival with her own hands in the bitter, chilly countryside. Yet just as her days are gradually turning for the better, a sudden, unexpected change abruptly descends, dragging everything she has painstakingly managed once more into unknown turbulence.
