Ten thousand years later, he returned with completely new power, only to find himself burdened by misunderstandings, while his former friend had become the high and mighty Heavenly Emperor. Shen Jin was not swayed by appearances, instead tracing clues from old sect ruins, mysterious chess pieces, and star maps to find the truth. In the end, he discovered that Gu Changming had always protected the three realms in his own way and awaited his return. The two stood side by side once again, leading everyone to break prejudices and established shackles, returning the right to choose their own lives to every single person.
